Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Interdisciplinary Program in Climate Studies of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below: 
Research Associate (1 Post) 

Consolidated salary Rs.31,200/- p.m.

 
Qualification: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and developement experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal

. 
Job Profile: 1.Setting up the protocols to prepare regional climate and chemical transport model ready emissions inventory through GIS based spatial gridding.

 
2. Establishment of a common platform for collation of raw activity data, emissions generation, and mapping for the Indian subcontinent region 

3. Support regional climate and air pollution modeling, coupled with the meteorological models like WRF, for both anthropogenic and non-anthropogenic sources. Additional Information States & U.T State & Union Territories Maharashtra
