JOB DESCRIPTION BUSINESS ANALYST (BA)
Should be able to Operate under general or minimum level of
supervision and perform duties with broad level of judgement.
The BA should be able to independently perform business
process analysis comparison of the same to desired state, document, recommend
and make the process and configuration changes to one or more operating
functions.
Business System
Analyst Job Duties:
§ Experience in GIS domain mandatory
§ Determines operational objectives by studying
business functions
§ Gathering information and evaluating output
requirements and formats.
§ Prepare Design by analyzing requirements and
constructing workflow charts and diagrams
§ Studying system capabilities and writing
specifications.
§ Defines project requirements by identifying
project milestones, phases, and elements, forming project team and establishing
project budget.
§ Monitors project progress by tracking activity,
resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
§ Provides references for users by writing and
maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support and training users.
§ Prepares technical reports by collecting,
analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
§ Maintains professional and technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops
§ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
