NABCONS requires a GIS Project Associate for Watershed related projects at its Corporate Office at New Delhi as followsKey ResponsibilitiesRS / GIS and MIS based mapping of activities at the field level.Develop suitable MIS for monitoring the project.Maintenance of RS / GIS / MIS database and generation of summary reports.Capacity building and in-house training.Information and analysis necessary for management and decision makingAny other project related work as and when needed.Educational QualificationB. Tech. / Post-Graduate / Ph.D. in GIS / Remote Sensing / Geomatics / Geoinformatics from a reputed institution.Knowledge on use of GIS related hardware and software and its application in Watershed and Natural Resource Management related activities.ExperienceMinimum 1 years of relevant experience working directly with projects on GIS / Remote Sensing / Geomatics / Geoinformatics.Working experience in GIS tools like ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, Auto Desk Map 3D, Auto CAD, other open source GIS software, etc.RemunerationConsolidated Rs. 35,000/- per month. However, higher salary can be considered in deserving cases.
